In 2026, Myrmecological News awards for the 8th time the Best Paper of the previous year. One paper of all contributions published in 2025 is selected based on a survey including the editorial board (weighted 50%) and the community (50%). The winner paper will be announced to the community, and its contact author will receive a certificate of this Best Paper Award 2025 and a voucher worth the Article Processing Charge (800 EUR) for a future contribution in Myrmecological News to be used within two years.
