Reading Time: < 1 minute

Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s in Evolution, Ecology, and Systematics at FSU, Jena. Previously, I had worked as a research assistant in various projects back in India; working on Vultures and Primates, exploring the field of ecology and behavior. Working intensively in the field was always a pleasure and gave me utmost satisfaction, which I cherish the most. It was during this time that I felt I would like to work on behavioral ecology ahead. Later, while I was interning at IISc, I ran into exploring the world of ants — tandem running, observing a minimum of 5 species in ~3 square metres (in tropics), different mound construction of different species, worker ants arduously following their routine, polymorphism — all of these just left me enthralled and from then on there was no looking back. I decided to work on ants, definitely.

Apart from observing or reading on ants, I also love to read popular science articles, short-stories, ponder about how to get the future generation excited about the natural world around us. I greatly indulge in hiking, slacklining, knowing the history of famous musicians, travelling, and exploring different cultures, and I love cooking.
